Congratulations to the Burk sisters! They were able to learn on the exact same equipment that is being used in industry!

Eunicia and Lakesia Burk, sisters, enrolled in the Adult Education program last year in pursuit to earn their high school diploma.

"Earning our high school diplomas was something we have put off for too long. We needed to complete this if we wanted to move forward and be an example for our children. Being in our 30s and not having our diploma was not a good look. It was a lot of work, but little by little, we saw the credits we needed become less and less. As it came closer to completion, Ms. M shared the opportunities NCUS TEC had to offer. Robotics was something we never thought we would do, however, knowing we would be the first African American Females to go through was motivating." shared Lakesia. "Knowing we have instructors who care and want to see you do well, that is really what makes NCUS TEC successful. We truly thank Ms. M and the FANUC Instructors for pushing us, believing in us, and caring."
